Pupil Premium

All schools, including Moss Lane School, receive additional funding to help specific groups of children – for example children who are either currently entitled to receive Free School Meals or who have been in the last six years, children who are Looked After by the Local Authority or who come from Service Families.

The funding is called Pupil Premium and it is used to support children in making good progress and attaining their very best at school.

Families who receive any of the following benefits may entitle the school to receive additional funding:

Funding may also be available if your child falls into one of the following groups:

  •          Has been looked after by the local authority for at least one day
  •          Adopted from care
  •          Has left care through a special guardianship arrangement
  •          Has left care and is subject to a child arrangement order

Schools are held accountable for how we have used the additional funding for Pupil Premium children. Please see our reports below for details of our Pupil Premium allocation and spending plans for the current year, and also our allocation, spend and impact on educational attainment for the previous year.
