Attendance & Absence

We encourage good habits for attendance and punctuality. This enables your child to get each school day off to the best possible start, as well as minimising disruption to the rest of the class. We expect children to attend school on time, every day unless they are unwell.

If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, please call the school office before the start of the school day on 01483 417 214 and leave a message with your child's name, class and details of illness.

If you have a pre booked medical appointment (eg dentist / physio / consultant) for your child and need to take them out during the school day please complete an absence form in advance.

Any other planned absences should be detailed on an absence form and returned to the school office.

Absence forms are available to download or from the school office.
