Our HSLW at Moss Lane School is Miss Forbes-Wood.

We can support all families when the going gets tough. Our school values, ‘Be Ready, Be Safe, Be Respectful’ extends to our whole school community, including grown-ups, and we can offer you a place of warmth and belonging to get support for your family when you need it. At Moss Lane, we recognise that all families go through tricky times and our HSLW is here to support you through our ‘Moss Lane Early Help Offer’.

What can we do for you?

A place to talk and share if you are worried about the safety of a child, friend or family
Support in tackling barriers getting your child to school every day and on time
Signposting to appropriate mental health services
Liaison with health professionals, such a doctors or dentists
Referrals to help for carers within your family
Free second hand uniform for little ones who have grown quickly
Guidance around housing and who to talk to
Support applying for DLA and PIP
Signposting to The Foodbank and Godalming Community Fridge
Requests for Support from wider Surrey professionals, Domestic Abuse charities and C-SPA
A cup of tea, a biscuit and a listening ear
