Safeguarding Statement

'There is a strong culture of safeguarding at the school and the safety and welfare of pupils has a high profile.'
'This is a great school - welcoming, caring and really involved in the local community.’
-OFSTED Report Feb 2018

Our robust safeguarding procedures reflect the high priority we place on keeping all our children safe when they are in school. Staff and Governors undertake regular training to keep up to date. Our teaching also supports development of the knowledge and strategies children need to keep themselves safe in different situations.  All staff are mindful of their legal duty to respond promptly to any concerns regarding a child’s welfare and well-being. This may include making referrals to other agencies.
